Create a topic by describing it

Some things you want to learn don’t come with a textbook. A new tool at work, a subject your child just started at school, a hobby you keep putting off. With LearningClarity you can learn any subject with AI by simply describing it in your own words, and get a structured topic ready to study in minutes.

How to learn any subject with AI in three steps

Step one: describe the subject in your own words.
  1. Describe what you want to learn. Type the subject in plain language. You have up to 5,000 characters, so you can be brief (“the basics of personal budgeting”) or detailed. Add your goals or your level if you like, for example “I’m a complete beginner and need to understand this for a new job”.
  2. Let LearningClarity build the topic. It creates the topic, assigns it a category and generates its subtopics, so the subject arrives already broken into manageable parts.
  3. Choose your focus. You decide which subtopics to study first. Completion is tracked for each one, so you always know what’s done and what’s left.

That’s it. No files to prepare and no syllabus to find. Describing a topic is the fastest and most economical way to start learning in LearningClarity.

Three ways learners use it

Nadia taking notes in an office meeting while a manager explains something at a whiteboard
A new job, and a concept she has never met.

Starting a new job. Your manager mentions a process or a concept you’ve never met. Describe it, add “for someone new to the field”, and you have a self-paced study topic before the next meeting.

Helping a child at home. A parent can type the subject a child is working on at school. Explanations and questions are pitched at the learner’s age, so the same subject feels right for a teenager or for an adult.

One subject, explained at the right level for each learner.

Learning for its own sake. Curious about astronomy, art history or a new language’s grammar? Describe what you want to understand and how deep you want to go, then study a little each day.

Learning for the joy of it, a little each day.

If you already have course notes or slides, you can also study your own PDFs with AI instead. Describing a topic is ideal when you’re starting from an idea rather than a document.

From a short description to real understanding

Once your topic exists, open a subtopic in Explain Mode, the step-by-step AI tutor. It teaches one short section at a time, and you can ask it to Simplify or Explain Further whenever you need. When you feel ready, check yourself with Quiz Mode, then sit an Exam Mode test on the whole topic.

One short section at a time, until it clicks.

A small tip for better results: say who you are and why you’re learning. “Explain the basics of statistics for a nurse reading research papers” gives LearningClarity more to work with than “statistics”.
